Punching Shear Resistance of Corroded Slab–Column Connections Subjected to Eccentric Load

Due to the use of deicing salt, marine and offshore environments may cause rebar corrosion in RC flat-slab floor systems. This increases possibility punching shear failure slab–column connections. However, few research results are available for connections with corroded under eccentric load, which is very common realistic loading conditions. To fill this gap, 15 full-scale flat were fabricated tested investigate performance load. The design variables included reinforcement ratio, eccentricity, degree corrosion. There two stages experimental process, including (1) accelerated tests; (2) quasi-static tests. It was found from test that, general, had detrimental effects on strength stiffness In addition, change mode it unexpected that energy-dissipating capacity deformation high ratio small eccentricity increased increasing degree.
